The changes in the area of breast glands in the puberty often raise anxiety among parents and paediatricians due to the risk of tumour. This paper touches upon the issues of correct development of breast glands among girls, in particular in the aspect of embriology. It also describes the problem of premature and delayed growth of breast glands in the context of premature and delayed adolescence. It has been noted that the overgrowth of the breast glands in children can be a pathological symptom not only after the adolescence period. The increase in number of breast gland issues grows with the age. The issues with breast glands among girls are rare, and cancer among women below the age of 20 is sporadic. Nevertheless, one of the adolescent gynecology's main goals and tasks is the promotion of health, sexual education and promotion of correct conduct regarding cancer prevention.
